Doll Collectors?

My sister and I loves collecting dolls, but we are just starting, We got porcelain dolls and vinyl baby dolls, I was thinking of collecting BJD (ball jointed dolls) cause they look really good and very artistic. What other kinds of dolls that are good for collecting? (Please, not Barbie!)
